PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound obtained by biotransformation of a (+)-isofraxinellone or (-)-fraxinellone derivative, and to provide an antifeedant for pest comprising the compound as the active ingredient.;SOLUTION: The compound is represented by general formula (A) or (C) (wherein, OH group(s) is bound to at least one carbon atom selected from those on the 4-, 5- and 6-sites; and the carbon-carbon bond for the 6-site and 7-site carbon atoms is a single bond or double bond).
