METHOD FOR REMOVING BRANCH PIPE, TIGHTLY STOPPING DEVICE FOR BRANCH OPENING, AND T-PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a branch pipe wherein a branch opening can be tightly stopped and the tight stopping can be simply released, a tightly stopping device for the branch opening, and a T-pipe.;SOLUTION: The method for removing a branch-pipe connected through a sluice valve 2 to a cylindrical branch opening 10 comprises the following four processes. In the first process, the branch-pipe is removed from the sluice valve 2 in which a stopper member 5 is inserted by means of an insertion tool 4 in the sluice valve 2. In the second process, the stopper member 5 is placed through the sluice valve 2 in the branch opening 10, projections formed in the periphery of the stopper member 5 are passed through lacking parts of engaging projections in the internal circumference of the branch opening 10. In the third process, the stopper member 5 is turned to perform alignment in the circumferential direction between the projections and the engaging projections so as to engage the projections with the engaging projections.
