PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a serum tumor marker for detecting gastrointestinal cancer such as stomach cancer with high specificity and sensitivity and available for detecting early cancer and a means of detecting gastrointestinal cancer.;SOLUTION: The serum tumor marker for detecting gastrointestinal cancer of the present invention includes olfactomedin 4 protein and Reg IV protein. Gastrointestinal cancer such as stomach cancer can be detected with high specificity and sensitivity by the serum tumor marker for detecting gastrointestinal cancer of the present invention. In addition, early cancer can be detected with high sensitivity.
