TESTING INSTRUMENT FOR VISUAL FIELD DEFICIENCY CAUSED BY GLAUCOMA

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable people to test the visual field deficiency of their own eyes by themselves and to find visual field deficiency at earlier stage even if they notice no symptom to prevent glaucoma from advancing, since glaucoma has few symptoms and people do not go to ophthalmologist until they have been aware of any trouble in their eyes and only precise medical equipment can find visual field deficiency caused by glaucoma and in most of the cases, symptoms are developing. PSOLUTION: A round mark is provided near the opening of the upper part of a tube so that user can see a bright bottom inside of a longitudinal tube and a clear outline over the bottom. When user sees the bottom with one eye and moves only his/her pupil toward the mark back and forth around largely, the user can test whether he/she has visual field deficiency based on unusual conditions such as blurred outline.
