PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply detecting developmental neurotoxicity that a chemical substances has.;SOLUTION: This method for detecting the developmental neurotoxicity that the chemical substance has, comprises (1) the first process of measuring the expression level of ≥1 gene selected from a gene having any of a specific base sequence registered in the Genbank or its orthologue gene in a specimen derived from a mammalian animal having a contact with the chemical substance in advance and (2) the second process of evaluating the level of the developmental neurotoxicity that the chemical substance has in the above specimen based on the difference obtained by comparing the measured value of expression level of the above gene in the specimen obtained by the first process with the control value of expression level of the gene.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
