PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a translator selection method, a translator selection program and a translator selection server, effectively utilizing translated text in an intermediate language later, in translation via the intermediate language. PSOLUTION: When a new translation request is received, whether a Web page to be translated can be directly translated from an original language of the page to a final language is determined (S105). When the direct translation is impossible (S105: NO), candidates of intermediate language for performing relay translation from the original language to the intermediate language and from the intermediate language to the final language are selected (S107), and points are calculated for translation results by the intermediate languages according to the demand (S112). An intermediate language estimated to have the highest point and to be highly demanded is determined (S107-S113).
