PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a registering operation of present position information to an earthquake early warning reception apparatus for notifying estimated earthquake intensity and arrival window time after receiving an earthquake early warning to be easily performed without any error.;SOLUTION: In an earthquake early warning distribution system for making the earthquake early warning received from the Meteorological Agency to be distributed to earthquake early warning reception apparatuses 5 which are disposed in each place via the Internet Network 4 by an earthquake news flash distribution server 3, and for notifying the estimated earthquake intensity and the arrival window time in each place, the earthquake early warning reception apparatus 5 acquires position information which is measured at a short range location of the earthquake early warning reception apparatus 5 by a cellular phone 6 having a GPS function as present position information, maintains the present position information acquired from the cellular phone 6, calculates the estimated earthquake intensity and the arrival window time at the present position based on the earthquake early warning and the present position information which are received from the earthquake news flash distribution server 3, and notifies by sound and display.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
