PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shim support guide jig capable of drawing out a designated shim support in a state where a superconductive magnet generates a static magnetic field, and re-inserting the shim support after adjusting the arrangement of a magnetic shim, and to provide a magnetic field generator for adjusting the arrangement of the magnetic shim by using the shim support guide jig, a magnetic resonance image diagnostic apparatus using the generator, a magnetic field adjustment method for the magnetic field generator, and a magnetic field adjustment method for the magnetic resonance image diagnostic apparatus. PSOLUTION: The shim support guide jig includes a shim support guide tube where a guide passage for guiding the movement of the shim support is internally formed. The designated shim support is drawn out from the internal space of the superconductive magnet through the guide passage, or inserted into the internal space through the guide passage.
