PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium alloy having relatively excellent corrosion resistance to fluorides to solve the problem in the conventional titanium and titanium alloy that they are corroded by fluoride, i.e., the problem that, though, e.g., the titanium alloy is used as the material for a member for dental treatment fitted to the mouth for dental treatment, e.g., as the material for a dental implant, a dental plate, a dental crown or the like, in the case a chemical comprising a fluoride solution such as a fluoride tooth flank application agent, a fluoride mouth washing agent and a fluoride-added toothbrushing agent is used in the mouth cavity fitted with the member for dental treatment, in the member for dental use comprising the conventional titanium or titanium alloy, the titanium or titanium alloy is easy to be corroded by the fluoride aqueous solution.;SOLUTION: A titanium-nickel alloy is produced by a vacuum arc melting method. a member for dental treatment comprises the titanium-nickel alloy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
