PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatoma with a protein whose presence or absence and whose amounts are different between normal persons and patients of chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatoma and its partial peptide, and to provide a biomarker comprising the protein and its partial peptide and used for the differential diagnosis of the chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatoma.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the biomarker which includes at least one protein selected from the group consisting of specific proteins and the group consisting of partial peptides comprising amino acid sequences that are the partial peptides of the proteins, or a peptide fragment produced from the protein and having five or more amino acid residues, and are used for the differential diagnosis of the chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, hepatoma, to a differential diagnosis method, and to an antigen peptide for making a peptide specific antibody used for the specific differential diagnosis method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
