PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a demand forecast method can perform demand forecasting with higher accuracy.;SOLUTION: This demand forecast system includes: a demand forecast pattern DB 6 for storing a demand forecast pattern in a component unit; a result DB 2 for storing the past use results in a component unit; a component information-result information acquisition part 3 for acquiring a usage result of the preceding year of a component that is subjected to demand forecast from the result DB 2; and a demand forecast part 7 for calculating a pattern distance evaluation in each demand forecast pattern obtained from the demand forecast pattern DB 6, selecting a demand forecast pattern with the least separation, and calculating the number of monthly demand forecast by proportionally distributing the total annual demand forecast of this year calculated on the basis of the use results to each month according to the selected demand forecast pattern.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
