PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decision support system for delivery area accurately grasping the actual number of delivery places in the distribution of direct mails even when an area as the reference of a census is not matched with an area as the reference of delivery when uniformly distributing advertising direct mails or the like to a prescribed area.;SOLUTION: A server 1 configuring a decision support system for delivery area is provided with a storage region 14a of map data including an investigating area or a delivery place number storage region 14d for storing the number of delivery places preliminarily set corresponding to the delivery area by associating it with the research zone matched or partially overlapped with the delivery area, and configured to receive the designation of the delivery area with the investigating area as a reference on the map data from the user terminal, and to read the number of delivery places stored so as to be associated with the investigating area concerning the designated delivery area from the delivery place number storage region 14d, and to make a user terminal display it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
