Public road parking management and methods of public road parking management system

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a public road parking management system and a public road parking managing method which can manage parking restrictions intensively and flexibly on the basis of regional characteristics of a public road.;SOLUTION: A vehicle 1 is provided with a GPS location measuring instrument 4, radio communication equipment 7, a voice output device 5 and a display 6, and a base station 41 is provided with a fixed communication station 43, a data server 50, a GPS fixed receiving station 44, a parking management control device 46 and a communication terminal 45. When the vehicle 1 transmits information of a parking location to the base station 41, the fixed base station determines whether parking is permitted or inhibited on the basis of location information of parking inhibition areas and parking permittable areas stored in the data server 50. When parking is inhibited, the voice output device 5 and the display 6 warn a driver of the vehicle 1 of parking violation. A violation fee/parking fee is calculated to the vehicle 1 that is continuously illegally parked without responding to the warn and a vehicle that is parked in a pay parking permittable area.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
