PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gloss and water repellency-imparting composition capable of imparting the gloss, the water repellency and a sliding property at the same time on the surface of automobile body with an automatic application method by using an automatic car washer and an applying machine/applying tool for automatically diluting a liquid agent.;SOLUTION: This gloss and water repellency-imparting composition is obtained by mixing (i) an emulsion obtained by emulsifying (a) an amino-modified polysiloxane obtained by introducing an aminoalkyl group or aminoalkyl-substituted aminoalkyl group into a part of the methyl groups of dimethylpolysiloxane (b) by using (1) a nonionic surfactant having 11.0-14.0 HLB, and (ii) an emulsion obtained by emulsifying (c) dimethylpolysiloxane by using (2) a nonionic surfactant having 10.0-13.0 HLB. The method for producing the same composition comprises a process of obtaining the emulsion (i), a process of obtaining the emulsion (ii), and a process of mixing the emulsions (i) and (ii).
