PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive member which can keep accurately a space from a photoreceptor by a fixed interval for a long period of time and has a high durability, and to provide a process cartridge and an image forming device which use the conductive member.;SOLUTION: The conductive member 2 is provided with; a long-sized conductive support body 10 forming a shaft member; an electric resistance adjustment layer 11 installed on the peripheral surface of the conductive support body 10; and a pair of gap holding members 12 which are made of a material different from that of the electric resistance adjustment layer 11 and are installed on the peripheral surface of the conductive support body 10 and are stuck to end surfaces of the electric resistance adjustment layer 11. A height difference is given between outer peripheral surfaces of the gap holding members 12 and the outer peripheral surface of the electric resistance adjustment layer 11 so that a gap 15 of a fixed interval may be formed between the outer peripheral surface of the photoreceptor and that of the electric resistance adjustment layer when the conductive support body 10 is brought into contact with the photoreceptor, and outer peripheral surfaces of end parts 12d of gap holding members adjacent to the electric resistance adjustment layer 11 are machined so as not to abut on the outside surface of the photoreceptor.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
