PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate complicated or difficult garbage separation different by local government or the like, and to much more easily guide the correct separation of garbage to a consumer or the like.;SOLUTION: This portable terminal for guiding garbage separation is configured to transmit area information or location information and information related with a product or garbage to be discharged, to a server, and to provide information related with the garbage separation suitable for the area, and to send the information of a product or garbage to be discharged and the location information to the server, and to retrieve the garbage separation corresponding to the area by the server, and to transmit the result to a portable terminal.
