PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace for a corridor employing earthquake countermeasures, which makes a steel brace (1) installed on the upper side section of a corridor ceiling (5), makes an L-shaped steel material (9) laid on the wall surface section (4) of the corridor, and brings about the connection and fixation of a corner post (2), a stud, a stand column, etc. , because cumbersome long-term construction work and high costs are required for the remodeling of an inhabited house and the application of earthquake resistance to the house.;SOLUTION: The steel brace (1) or the wooden brace is fixed to the corner post (2) by means of a screw nail (7). The L-shaped steel material (9) is fixed to the corner post (2) in the state of being changed into an inverted L-shape, below the steel brace (1) or the wooden brace, and the stud, the stand column (not shown in Fig.), etc. are also connected and fixed in a similar way.
