APPLICATION METHOD OF GRANULATED FERTILIZER IN NURSERY BOX FOR PADDY RICE SEEDLING

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for applying a granulated fertilizer to a nursery box for paddy rice seedling, wherein the granulated fertilizer applied on the surface soil of the nursery box is not scattered from the nursery box even when the paddy rice seedling nursery box is declined. PSOLUTION: The granulated fertilizer and a polysaccharide-based polymer compound having ≥0.1 wt.% aqueous solubility at 20°C are applied on the surface soil of the nursery box for paddy rice seedling, or a fertilizer mixture including the granulated fertilizer and the polysaccharide-based polymer compound is applied on the surface soil in the nursery box for paddy rice seedling, and the surface soil in the paddy rice seedling nursery box is sprinkled with water. The ratio of the polysaccharide-based polymer compound having ≥0.1 wt.% aqueous solubility at 20°C to the granulated fertilizer is preferably in the range of 0.01-10 wt.%.
