WATER-STOP METHOD OF SPLICE PART, AND WIRING STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE WIRE HARNESS HAVING THE SPLICE PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a structure in which a wire harness is hardly bent in the wired state by enhancing rigidity of a splice part while enhancing water-stop performance of the splice part of an electric wire wired in an automobile.;SOLUTION: A water-stopping agent comprising silicone is coated on a central part of an inner surface of a wide-width adhesive tape, and the splice part of the electric wire is placed on a surface of a foam sheet. The foam sheet is then wrapped around the splice part with the adhesive tape in a sushi-wrapping state, and the splice part and a core wire exposure part of the electric wire continued to both sides of the splice part, are covered with the foam sheet containing the water-stopping agent. An insulation covering part of the electric wire continued to the core wire exposure part is covered with the adhesive tape, and then an outer peripheral surface of the adhesive tape is further helically half-wrapped by another thin adhesive tape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
