PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a webbing take-up device capable of preventing release of holding of an engagement member by a holding member.;SOLUTION: In the webbing take-up device 10, a turning shaft 70 of a lock plate 68 is passed through a supporting hole 64 of a gear case 58, and the lock plate 68 is turnably supported by a resin-made supporting part 62 of the gear case 58 in the turning shaft 70. Even when a large load on the supporting part 62 side is applied to the lock plate 68, a tip of the turning shaft 70 of the lock plate 68 is abutted on a metallic inhibition part 76 of a cover plate 74, and deformation of the supporting part 62 caused by the movement of the lock plate 68 to the supporting part 62 side is inhibited. Thus, release of supporting of the rock plate 68 by the supporting part 62 can be prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
