PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate an intra-symbol time variation in a multicarrier receiving apparatus. PSOLUTION: As a configuration of an intra-symbol temporal variation estimator of 3.B, a digital complex signal outputted from an orthogonal demodulation unit 1 is inputted to a delay circuit 111, a phase variation estimation unit 112, and a short block amplitude variation estimation unit 113. A delay signal resulting from delaying the digital complex signal by an effective symbol length (TSBf/SB) is outputted from the delay circuit 111 and inputted to the phase variation estimation unit 112. In the phase variation estimation unit 112, a phase variation for each time interval TSBa/SB(TSBa/SBTSBf/SB) is estimated from the digital complex signal outputted from the orthogonal demodulation unit 1 and the delay signal. In the short block amplitude variation estimation unit 113, an amplitude variation for each time interval TSBa/SB(TSBa/SBTSBf/SB) is estimated from the digital complex signal outputted from the orthogonal demodulation unit 1. In a correction factor computation circuit 114, a complex factor for compensating a time variation in a block TSBa/SBis calculated from the inputted amplitude variation and phase variation, and outputted to a complex multiplier 12.
