PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ATM switch performance analyzing device for analyzing the performance of the switch when the number and type of connections are dynamically changed, and for using the analyzed information for network construction and management and an ATM switching system to which this device is applied.;SOLUTION: This ATM switch performance analyzing device arranged on a communication network is provided with a traffic detecting part for detecting traffic state information corresponding to fixed bit rate connection type data, and variable bit rate connection type data inputted to an ATM switch for processing the line switching of data; and a performance analyzing part for calculating processing performance corresponding to the fixed bit rate connection type data, and the variable bit rate connection type data from the traffic state information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
