PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for conveniently determining/evaluating health condition in a broad sense including poor health owing to causes other than stress by utilizing a biological response system reacting even to a relatively weak stress load with high sensitivity, and to provide a health measuring device using the same.;SOLUTION: With a test subject loaded with slight stress, saliva is taken therefrom before and after the stress loading. Then, peroxidase activity in the taken saliva is measured to find the tendency of change in the peroxidase activity caused by the slight stress load. Further, a difference is found between a standard tendency of change set by previously measuring the tendency of change in the peroxidase activity existing in the saliva of a plurality of healthful living bodies caused by the slight stress load and a tendency of change in the peroxidase activity existing in the saliva of the test subject caused by the slight stress load, thereby determining health condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
