PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact apparatus having simple structure for producing fine spherical copper powder in a rotating disc process.;SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing fine spherical copper powder in the rotating disc process is provided with: a crucible (vessel) for heating and melting copper into molten metal; a tap nozzle 3 for making the molten metal flow down; and a disc for scattering the molten metal, wherein an induction heating coil (heating means) 3a is positioned on the outer periphery of the tap nozzle 3, and before the molten metal is made to flow down onto the disc, the induction heating coil 3a heats the tap nozzle 3 at preheating temperature and the disc is heated by the resultant radiant heat, and when the molten metal is made to flow down onto the disc, the induction heating coil 3a heats the tap nozzle 3 at heating temperature, and thereby the molten metal can be made to flow down onto the disc without being solidified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
