PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the separation of a sample liquid from a suction tube in a sampling apparatus for discharging the sample liquid from the suction tube after drawing a prescribed quantity of sample liquid into the suction tube by suction by the operation of a syringe pump.;SOLUTION: The syringe pump is provided with a syringe 14 arranged in such a way as to be capable of pendulous motion with its tip side as a fulcrum; a piston 16 inserted in the syringe; and a piston drive mechanism 18 for reciprocally moving the piston by circularly moving the rear end side of the piston. The piston drive mechanism is constituted of a rotating plate 22 to which the rear end side of the piston is connected at an eccentric location; a motor 21 for rotating the rotating plate; a one-way clutch 20 for restricting the rotating direction of the rotating plate in one direction; and a spring 28 for raising the rotating speed of rotating plate between a bottom dead point and a top dead point by biasing the rotation of the rotating plate from the bottom dead point to the top dead point.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
