The method involves packing a growth material i.e. compost in a waterproof container (1), and sealing the container for transport. The container is opened and a desired amount of water is poured into the container, where the container is made of a foldable material. A mark is added to a wall of the container, to indicate the desired height of the container to be filled with water. An independent claim is also included for a closed container for processing growth material.
