METHOD FOR PROTECTING BEE FRAMES WITH EMPTY HONEYCOMBS AGAINST BEE-MOTH

The invention relates to animal husbandry, in particular to beekeeping. A method of protecting bee frames with empty honeycombs against the bee-moth consists in spraying the frames with a solution of table salt (400 g per 1 l of water) prior to arranging thereof for long-term storage with the further washing with cold water for 30 min. The use of the solution of table salt allows: to protect the frames with empty honeycombs against bee-moth effectively upgrade the quality of the empty honeycombs, improving the development of a bee family, to make it possible for the bee family to obtain salt mineral feeding in spring.
