A method for filling ducts which open onto the surface of the ground, such asdrainageducts and/or aeration ducts in a field of grass, with a granular material,such as sand,comprising the steps of:- providing a covering comprising openings,- arranging the covering on the ground,- producing ducts in the ground,- pouring granular material onto the covering,- introducing the granular material into the openings in the covering so thatit flows intothe ducts.
