A composite wall with steel bar and/or metal wire mesh and mortar on internal and external sides is provided. It is in the form as follows: an internal vertical steel bar (6) and an external upright steel bar (5) are respectively connected to the internal and external sides of the bearing elements (1) of the building structure, and a core layer (3) has protection layers on both sides thereof; the internal vertical steel bar (6) and the external upright steel bar (5) are respectively connected to the internal and external sides of the bearing elements (1) of the building structure, and they are fastened by tension wires (11); the internal vertical steel bar (6) and the external upright steel bar (5) are respectively anchored to the foundation or floors; the internal vertical steel bar (6-2) under the window sill and the external upright steel bar (5-2) under the window sill are respectively connected to a beam or a cantilever (1-2); the internal vertical steel bars (6) arranged on both sides of the core layer (3) are connected to the floor slab, one of the bearing elements (1) of the building structure. The interface agent spreads on the composite wall to resist cracking. The composite wall has the advantage of good heat insulation performance, good anti-seismic performance and low cost.
