A machine for the centrifugal separation, designed in particular for the oil-producing industry, comprising on a machine bed (1) a vertical-axis centrifugal separator (2), which is provided with a vertical transmission shaft (5). The motion is imparted to the vertical transmission shaft (5) by an output (or drive) shaft (7) of an electric motor (3), and by a transmission unit (8) with flexible member.
