The invention relates to microchannel heat sinks. The aim of the invention is to increase the effectiveness of the corrosion proofing of microchannel heat sinks and thus their service life. The invention is characterized in that the surface of at least one metal cooling rib structure on a first element of at least two plate-shaped elements that are interlinked via joining surfaces is provided with an anticorrosive coating in at least some sections thereof, said coating containing at least one material of the group of refractory metals and refractory metal compounds. Joining agents provided between the joining surfaces and being in contact with a coolant are of the electrically insulating type or are electrically insulated from the cooling rib structure.
