An absorbent article with nice air permeability comprises a front waist region (a), a rear waist region (c) and a crotch region (b) between the front waist region (a) and the rear waist region (c) along its length direction. The disposable diaper comprises a liquid pervious top sheet, an absorbent core and a liquid impervious back sheet along its thickness direction, which are integrated to each other. Elastic pieces (1) are provided near two sides of the front waist region (a) respectively along the width direction of absorbent article. Said elastic pieces (1) are set along the width direction and have arched bending part in its middle part.
