Method for filtering messages in a instant messaging system on a mobile terminal, instant messaging system and server realizing that method

The method involves receiving messages (MB, MC, MD) for a mobile terminal (TA) of clients (A). The received messages are directly analyzed by an instant messaging server (S), which manages exchange of the messages between the clients equipped with the terminal and users (B, C, D). The messages are transmitted to the terminal of the client by the server if the analyzed message (MB) contains sequence of characters e.g. magic word, after comparison with specific sequence. The messages are filtered by the server if the analyzed messages (MC, MD) do not contain the sequence of characters. The analyzed message contains sequence of corresponding characters that confirm to American Standard Code for Information Interchangestandard, UNICODEstandard or WINDOWS-12555standard. An independent claim is also included for an instant messaging system of a mobile terminal comprising an instant messaging server for managing exchange of messages between clients equipped with the terminal and users.
