A resource allocating method for an automatic retransmission request is provided to reduce an MAP overhead relating to HARQ by transmitting difference of position information in the previously transmitted MAP message based on the MAP information. An MAP message including information about the differential allocation support state is transmitted(S301). The MAP information included in the MAP message is stored for the predetermined frame(S302). Whether the NACK signal is received or not is monitored for the predetermined frame(S303). If the NACK signal is received in the predetermined frame(S304), the reception of the burst and the sub frame to be retransmitted about the NACK signal is confirmed(S305). If the NACK is received for the predetermined frame, the sub burst information including the differential allocation information about the burst to be retransmitted is transmitted(S306).
