PURPOSE: A pipe connection device with a groove is provided to strengthen combining force by forming protrusions horizontally at regular interval along the inner wall circumference of a watertight member.;CONSTITUTION: A pipe connection device with a groove(180) comprises a band, a supporting plate(120), a fastening unit, and triangular rods. The band surrounds the butted two pipes. The supporting plate surrounds a reinforcing member(130) attached to both sides of the band. The fastening unit is inserted through the supporting plate and joining holes of the reinforcing member. The fastening unit hold the butted pipes in place. Each triangular rod has a reinforcing member. A reinforcing member consists of projections and grooves. The projections and grooves are meshed with each other. A groove is formed between connection units of a supportive plate. In deforming pipe, grooves prevent the decrease of clamping force.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
