A manufacturing process of a cylindrical workpiece of which a side face is depressed in a concave shape comprises: a cutting step(S1) of cutting a circular rod shaped metal workpiece; a first rounding step(S2) of placing and fixing the cut metal workpiece onto a dice frame to round a shape portion of the metal workpiece; a second rounding step(S3) of rotationally placing the first rounded metal workpiece on an inner diameter part of a dice to round a sharp corner formed on a top part of the metal workpiece; a first forging step(S4) of placing and fixing the second rounded metal workpiece onto an inner diameter part of the dice to form a groove with a predetermined depth on the metal workpiece and extend the metal workpiece in upward and downward directions; a first forming step(S5) of fixing and placing the first forged metal workpiece onto a dice frame coupled to a mold frame formed in the form of Roman number I to penetratingly form a central groove in the metal workpiece and change a lower part of the metal workpiece into the form of a lower part of the Roman number I; and a second forming step(S6) of rotating the first formed metal workpiece, thereby placing and fixing the metal workpiece onto a dice frame including a mold frame formed in the form of Roman number I to change a lower part of the metal workpiece into the form of a lower part of the Roman number I.
