Nano-sized nickel based reforming catalysts dipped in ymgo(1-y)Al2O3 having a nano-sized crystalline of high surface area spinel structure is provided to improve caulk resistivity, catalyst stability and catalyst activation by performing a complex reforming reaction of steam - carbon dioxide about natural gas. Nano-sized nickel based reforming catalysts dipped in ymgo(1-y)Al2O3 having a nano-sized crystalline of high surface area spinel structure is used for manufacturing synthetic gas consisting of hydrogen and carbon monoxide from natural gas by complex reforming of steam and carbon dioxide. The nickel based reforming catalysts have spinel structure of which grain size is 20 nm or less.
