A PRE-CONSOLIDATION TESTING APPARATUS EQUIPPED WITH SHEAR WAVE GENERATORS AND RECEIVERS FOR MEASURING SHEAR WAVE VELOCITY DISTRIBUTION OF SOILS

A preconsolidation testing device for measuring shear wave velocity distribution of soils is provided to measure the change about space and time of a shear modulus when the degree of consolidation of the ground is increased. A preconsolidation testing device for measuring shear wave velocity distribution of soils is composed of a testing soil tub(10) in which a bottom plate(12) having a drain hole(11) is formed, a shear plate(20) installed at a lubrication layer(13), a trigger(40) generating shear wave in the shear plate, a loading plate(50) and a pneumatic cylinder(60) which presses a clay sample(S) downwardly by using the pneumatic pressure, a pressure control panel(70) controlling the loading plate by controlling the air volume, an LVDT(80) measuring the settlement of the loading plate, a speed sensor(90) installed at the lower part of the loading plate at the constant interval, an oscilloscope(100), and a control computer(110).
