System Removing Stink or Volatile Organic Compound Discharged from Industrial Complex

An apparatus for removing stink or a volatile organic compound by using a movable activated carbon cartridge of a separation type, regeneration of activated carbon and recovery of energy and a method thereof are provided to produce steam and/or electricity by using the energy generated in a process for extinction of a harmful material. An apparatus for recovering energy comprises a steam reproduction device(110) of activated carbon, a water separator(120) separating a flowing water mixture ejected from a steam reproducer, and a waste heat boiler(130) using generated heat by burning up the separated oil into the energy. In a recovery method of the energy, a regenerating process comprises the following steps of: preheating the activated carbon; detaching an attached material by supplying steam; and drying the detached activated carbon.
