PURPOSE: A method and a system for traffic light discrimination in a school zone and a method for an information display are provided to prevent speeding, illegal parking, jaywalking in school zone. CONSTITUTION: A method and a system for traffic light discrimination in a school zone and a method for an information display are comprised of the steps: dividing colors comprising signal lamp from an image taken by a camera; obtaining the image while the signal lamp is turned off and calculating an illumination value at each region; obtaining image through a camera by a setting period and calculating illumination value at each region from an taken image; calculating the difference of illumination value at each region and the illumination value stored in the device, and comparing the difference value with threshold value.
