FISH PASS DESIGN IN FISH WAY FOR FISH INTAKE AND TRANSFER FROM BOTTOM POOL TO TOP POOL IN WATERWORKS FACILITY

FIELD: construction; hydro engineering structures.;SUBSTANCE: fish way for fish intake and transfer from bottom pool to top pool of waterworks facility is implemented as staggered or sloping platform or channel with longitudinal slope to the side of the bottom pool. Bottom pool includes transverse vertical partitions separating fish way into chambers with openings of rectangular, square or round shape. Jet-forming nozzles are placed on opening perimeter. Openings are provided with curtain deflectors so that the nozzles are inside outlet part formed by deflectors and parallel to screening plane of adjoining curtain deflector. Outlets of nozzles are situated directly in openings between the planes of transverse separating walls sides or in stand-alone channels. Jet-forming nozzles are coupled with feed pipelines or distribution headers implemented inside transverse partitions. From the side of low pool, lower edges of openings made in bottom parts of separating walls are smoothly connected as couplings with the bottom of trays belonging to downstream chambers of fish way.;EFFECT: movement of ground fish in direction of openings and decreased accumulation of river drifts.;3 dwg
