METHOD OF DEFINING INDICATIONS FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CENTRAL RETINAL VEIN BRANCH THROMBOSIS

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention concerns ophthalmology and can be applied in defining indications for surgical treatment of central retinal vein branch thrombosis (CRVBT) combined with macular edema (ME). Examination is performed at the acute stage of CRVBT before and in 10 days after medicament treatment. For original macula volume up to 8.0 mm³ and further volume preservation, reduction or increase by up to 0.12 mm³, favourable disease course is prognosed. For original macula volume over 8.0 mm³ and further absence of changes or edema increase by more than 0.12 mm³, adverse disease course is prognosed, and surgical treatment is considered necessary.;EFFECT: possible defining of indications for surgical treatment at acute stage of CRVBT, prognosis of surgical treatment result.;3 ex, 1 tbl
