The invention relates to a device for transporting, vertically supporting and seating for a contrabass and a contrabass player comprising three ground-contacting points and folding seat. Two of the ground-contacting points are provided with wheels. Said folding seat is provided with stuffed cushions on the top and lower parts thereof. When the folding seat is lifted, the cushion coating the top part thereof forms a backrest for the back of the upstanding contrabass. When said foldable seat is lowed, the top part thereof forms a seating surface of a chair.
