The method involves using the mathematical method of estimation with the aid of filter method relating to the model assumption for estimating the motion and/or orientation of the target object (B1, B2). The filter method utilizes the semi-martingale algorithm e.g. algorithm based on the model equation that is represented by smooth semi-martingales for estimating the motion. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a tracking system; (2) an interceptor missile; and (3) a filler with program for implementing the method.
