Pulley driven, controllable coolant pump for internal combustion engine of motor vehicle, has transmitter with end including actuating and working pistons at hydraulic pipe, where working piston operates in operating medium provided in pipe
The pump has overflow chambers (12) connected with a ring channel (14) using a chamber hole (13) and arranged in a pump housing (1). A pressure connection socket (15) is arranged at the housing and flows into the chamber or directly into the ring channel through a pressure compensation hole (16). A hydraulic pipe (17) is attached at the pressure connection socket. One end of a pressure transmitter (18) is arranged with an actuating piston (19) and a working piston (20) at the hydraulic pipe. The working piston operates in an operating medium (21) that is provided in the hydraulic pipe.
