Control system for object i.e. engine, has adjusting unit that represents mathematical model having transfer function, where transfer function of system is determined to approximate transfer function of mathematical model
The system has an adjusting unit (34) that represents a mathematical model having a transfer function. The mathematical model is formed such that the adjusting unit receives an input signal (R), to produce an adjusting signal (Q2). The adjusting signal, an output signal (Y) and the input signal are evaluated to produce an operating signal (U3) that is supplied to a master control unit (32). A transfer function of the system is determined to approximate the transfer function of the mathematical model. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting a control system for controlling an output signal produced by a controlled object.
