The device for treating water e.g. tap water, comprises a water inlet (2), a water outlet (3), a fluidization line (6), which is arranged between the inlet and outlet, a treatment line (7) connected between the fluidization line and the water outlet, and a housing (13) for the fluidization line and the treatment line. The fluidization line and the treatment line are flowed through in the operation of the device by the water to be treated. The fluidization line is formed in such a manner that a spatial-spiral flow movement around an axis (A) of the device is impressed to the water. The device for treating water e.g. tap water, comprises a water inlet (2), a water outlet (3), a fluidization line (6), which is arranged between the inlet and outlet, a treatment line (7) connected between the fluidization line and the water outlet, and a housing (13) for the fluidization line and the treatment line. The fluidization line and the treatment line are flowed through in the operation of the device by the water to be treated. The fluidization line is formed in such a manner that a spatial-spiral flow movement around an axis (A) of the device is impressed to the water. The treatment line is arranged for an effect on the water in spatial proximity to first volumes filled or fillable with a first reference medium. The first volume is arranged partially within the treatment line and is reflowed in the operation of the device. The treatment line is formed as channel with circular cross section. The first volume is designed as cylindrical volume with circular cross section, which is accessible from the outside for filling with the first reference medium. The fluidization line is formed as channel wound around the axis of the device, has 2 complete turns around the axis of the device and comprises a drop shaped cross section, which decreases in direction of flow of the water. The outline of the cross section of the fluidization line has a point of discontinuity. The fluidization line is designed as conical spiral or as helix, is dextrorotatory toward an axial flow of the water, and has an upward gradient (m1-m3) in the direction of flow. The cross section of the fluidization line is smaller than the cross section of the treatment line at the passage of the fluidization line and the treatment line. The fluidization line and the treatment line comprise a U-shaped arrangement, and are formed in a metal. The fluidization line forms a first vertical arm of the U-shaped arrangement and the treatment line forms a second vertical arm and a horizontal arm of the U-shaped arrangement. The fluidization line partly surrounds a second volume, which is filled or fillable with a second reference medium for an effect on the water. The second volume is formed as cylindrical volume with a circular cross section, as conical volume or as frustum-shaped volume, and is accessible from the outside for filling with the second reference medium. The first reference medium and the second reference medium are different or same media.
