The displacement pump (1) has a housing (2) in which a rotor (5) is mounted. The rotor is enclosed by an adjusting ring (4). An internal contour of the adjusting ring is designed such that the volume of two suction zones (13,14) or two pressure zones (9,10) is modified with a twist of the adjusting ring by an adjustment device (16).
