The light has a round, transparent lamp shade that is opened up and down, and a socket (4) and a cable operating with an energy-saving illuminant (3). A stable, curved, transparent plastic foil (1) is used as a rear side of the lamp shade, and the socket for the energy-saving illuminant is fastened to the plastic foil by a metallic wire or a cable connector (6). The lamp shade has a front side with a strong, rectangular, painted acryl glass disk (8), where the front side is connected together with the rear side for forming a cavity for the illuminant with the socket.
