The window screen has a frame (1) made of steel. A screen (2) consists of a set of steel plates flexibly connected to each other, where each plate consists of a disk stand of bars and of plate steel sheets (6). Frame columns provided between the plates are provided with a waterproof disk and are covered with flat steel bar latches. The screen stands on a base at a front wall (11) during flood and protects the window openings when the screen is in an operating position. The screen is in a plate stack (3) such that windows remain free when the screen is in an empty position.
